Dance Connection is Newport’s Community Dance School. We accept students from 2½ through to adult, from beginner to advanced with competitive and non-competitive performing opportunities.

Classes are designed to build strength, balance, agility and flexibility while promoting self-confidence, and motivation within each dancer.

Dance Connection prides itself on offering the very best in dance instruction from a professional, highly motivated and committed team who will challenge all students to meet the highest possible standards. Our aim is to create a warm, friendly, family atmosphere. We encourage all parents to watch classes if they wish, and take an active role in their childs progress and development. Informed parents can only increase the success of a child and their achievements!

Our Teenage classes are proving to be extremely popular with boys and girls from local schools and colleges.

From January 2007 we have introduced a ‘Family & Multi Discipline Discount Rate‘ please ask for details - you may be eligible.
Adult classes are friendly and great fun. Prospective newcomers often ask what type of dance we do, the set dance routines are designed to give your whole body a work out, some more difficult than others, but there are always extra teachers on hand to go over any tricky bits. We also do some Funky Line Dances and Salsa.
